Iron Sharpens Iron Ministry & Church of San Antonio (Iron Sharpens Iron), Texas was birthed in 2008 by Pastor Mike “Ascencion” Torres out of a living proof experience that a drug addict can be transformed into a productive member of society by the mighty power of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are proudly 501C-3 approved.
Iron Sharpens Iron is a multi-faceted non-profit, 501C-3 approved, organization that consists of three main areas to service those, in need in the greater San Antonio area:
A Men’s Recovery residential home that is available to serve the needs of men in our community who are suffering from drug and alcohol addictions.
A Lawn Care service for residential and small businesses that can support an area primarily in Bexar County, but also works with those in need in Guadalupe, Comal and Kendall County. This Lawn Care provides the men in recovery a service to provide and to learn skills and team work to take with them in their future.
A Bible based Sunday worship Church service located in the heart of San Antonio. The church is nondenominational and offers bilingual support.
Our ministry provides a Christian service to the community with a goal to assist in the transition of primarily men through biblical teachings and instruction. The ministry survives on the generous donations provided by individuals and businesses as well as support of the Lawn Care program.
